Small Businesses to Shop from in 2022
Written by Trinity Duong
Small businesses are our future. By elevating their platform we know that we can bring sustainability and appreciation for slow-made products and services to the forefront of the industry. Today we have selected five of our favorite small businesses.
@ShopAbbode
Abbode was created by Abigail Price in February of 2020 and brought to the streets of New York City in May of 2021. With a background in events, fashion, and beauty, she developed a keen eye for trends and style and brought this knowledge into the home decor space. With an eye for finding vintage goods and unique homewares, Abigail turned what was originally a passion project of making fried floral arrangements into a vibrant home decor business. Abbode recently opened their new store at 252 Elizabeth Street.

@_Gretes_
Gretes was established in 2018 by Grete Svegzdaite in Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2018 Grete started to sew silk accessories and created a brand name GRETES. In 2020 accessories were noticed in New York and Paris, so she was invited to show them in New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week events for young brands. Inspired by this success, she decided to bring Brand to a new level: to combine fashion and innovation.

@NanaglowSkincare
Nanaglow would be characterized by their love of skincare and they want to share their knowledge with you. There is a world of information out there and we know it can be overloaded to take it all in and apply it to the needs of your skin. Nanar, their lovely esthetician, takes pride in answering all your questions and providing you with the best skincare tips you desire. Ari, on the other hand, runs the show behind the scenes and takes care of all the boring work that nobody wants to do; isn't that what a lawyer's supposed to do anyway?
