Welcoming Sara to BMG

Written by Alanna Moore

The BMG team is expanding yet again, and we are thrilled to welcome Sara Ruttenberg as our new Social Media Coordinator who works directly with our client Lux Bijoux! At Brand's Media Group, we love letting our audience get to know each team member personally, which is exactly what this interview-style blog aims to do.

What makes you excited about working for BMG?

I love working for BMG because we’re a small, women-run marketing firm. Since we’re a small team, I work closely and collaborate with our team members, who all provide different skill sets. I also have more responsibility and the opportunity to take on different roles, so I’ve been gaining a lot of valuable experience.

Where’s a dream destination you’d love to visit?

South of Italy and South of France! Positano, Lake Como, Taormina, Provence, and Saint-Tropez!

Who’s your biggest role model and why?

My mom! She raised me by herself and always did everything she could to provide for me and be the most caring and loving mother. She is my inspiration for so many aspects of my life and has shaped me into the woman I am today!

What made you want to work in this field?

I have always been interested in Business, Marketing and Fashion! I love that working as a Social Media Coordinator, I am now able to combine both my creative and analytical sides.

How would you describe yourself in five words?

Creative, Detail-Oriented, Persistent, Sociable, and Data-Driven.

How do you bridge luxury and social media for your client work?

Being a Social Media Coordinator for a luxury brand involves seamlessly merging luxury and social media by understanding the brand's identity, target audience, and unique selling points. When creating content, I focus on maintaining a visually appealing and cohesive aesthetic that reflects the brand's elegance and style. The luxury positioning of the brand helps guide my content ideas, ensuring the content created aligns with the brand's overall vision and values.

What are your biggest social media tips for businesses who want to grow their page?

  1. Post engaging and high-quality content

  2. Make data-driven decisions - use analytics to track and optimize performance

  3. Have fun, be creative and don’t take it too seriously!
