Tips And Tricks For Twitter Growth With Clara

Written by Trinity Duong

Growing your business on social media has changed the way producers and consumers interact. Now with personalized spaces on the internet to communicate and put out visual and written statements to appeal to audiences, it’s been easier than ever to sell your service or product.

Today our very own Clara from Brand’s Media Group will be explaining how to specifically grow your Twitter. We’ve asked her a few questions to see how she has grown our own Twitter and specific tips to help you.

1) What can Twitter do for your business?

Twitter can help broaden your social media presence by expanding your network and incorporating engagement amongst individuals within your field. Through expanding your brand’s presence online, gives you the opportunity to meet potential new clients, as well as form a community in which is based on transparency and authenticity.

2) Have you seen a difference since you began using Twitter more frequently for Brand’s Media Group?

I have seen a huge difference in terms of engagement and brand awareness when it comes to Brand’s Media Group on Twitter. Through interactions with fellow marketing enthusiasts, it has become clear that we are all in a sense connected and we help each other with new tips and tricks for social media.

3) Do you believe visual content helps more than writing tweets?

I believe there are benefits to both forms of content, therefore blending the two could be even more advantageous. I often try to offer variety in terms of content by posting the occasional GIF or reposting articles to offer some visual content on top of the written. But sometimes tweeting a short and simple thought can entice even more engagement, so my best piece of advice is to always mix it up.

4) What are some of your strategies for Twitter growth?

I often find commenting and interacting with other Twitter users is the main way to gain exposure. Sometimes just following a hashtag, such as #marketing can help filter tweets that are more relevant to you and help you find great accounts. Tweeting periodically, using hashtags and @ mentions can also help with your Twitter growth.

5) How do you think Twitter helps your business more than other social media such as Facebook or Instagram?

Twitter offers a whole different form of interaction in comparison to Facebook and Instagram. Therefore, it can help you gain exposure for your business, but in a more unique way. There is plenty of opportunity for engagement, but the type of engagement is more direct and less formal since you are limited to a certain number of characters. This character limit enables you to be straight to the point and helps maintain a clear line of communication between your business and potential clients. Through this very direct form of transparency and authenticity, there can be more of a sense of trust and that can help your business in some ways that other platforms might do differently
