A Talk With Noémie, Our Community Manager

Here at Brand’s Media Group, our team is small but mighty and we love getting to know each and every one of you! We thought it’d also be fun for you to get to know us a little better, so we sat and had a chat with Noémie, our Community Manager, to let you learn more about her radiant self!

What’s your favourite thing about social media?

My favourite thing about social media is that it lets people be creative, fun and different. It’s also super cool that it’s a good source of entertainment.

What has BMG taught you?

A lot. BMG taught me to trust myself and be more confident in the work I do. It also taught me to be more independent. Beyond that, being a Community Manager taught me a lot of new skills in regard to social media strategies and content creation.

Where’s somewhere you’ve always dreamed of travelling to and why?

I’ve always dreamed of travelling to Paris because it feels like it’s calling my name. I love that it’s a good mix of city life and history. 

What’s your favourite type of content to work on?

I love making memes. They’re really fun and give you the opportunity to be super creative.

Why did you choose to go into social media?

I chose social media because I understood it very well. I understand and appreciate the power of social media and realized that I had a talent for it and that it comes naturally to me. 

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I’ll have my Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations from Concordia University. I also plan to be more confident, I’ll be able to call myself a Social Media Specialist, I’ll have found my niche, and hopefully, I’ll get to teach a course of some sort.

What’s your favourite thing about living in Montreal?

The people. It’s the city where all my favourite people are: my family, friends, and my boyfriend.
