3 Paris Stylists You Need To Follow

They are responsible for dressing models, clients, and celebrities in pieces that fit each client's individual taste and style. They break down the hair, the makeup, the accessories, and the outfit. They are influencers of the fashion industry as their work ends up in distinguished publications and social media feeds. Stylists are the ultimate insight into the industry when it comes to designer clothing, up-and-coming brands, behind-the-scenes shoots and fittings, and the next fashion trends. 

They work with notable designers making sure every top product is revealed to the public and with social media keeping a close eye on these publications, it’s easier than ever to catch a glimpse at what it means to be a stylist.

1) Evangelina Polevik

Evangelina Polevik is a Russian stylist who originally lived in Basel, Switzerland, and later moved to Paris to pursue her academic career in fashion. She studies at Parsons Paris, a top university that specializes in design and fashion. Polevik has worked as a stylist and assistant stylist for numerous amounts of publications including The Wow Mag, Numéro Netherlands, and Vogue. She has also helped with personal projects styling shoots with influencers and models such as Helio Chen. She is also a musician publishing music under the stage name “Schoolfriend”. She has released two singles and one EP featuring five songs. Keep your eye out for Evangelina Polevik.

2) Giedre Sofia

Giedre Sofia is a Paris-based freelance stylist, photographer, and creative director. Originally from Lithuania, she moved to Paris at eighteen years old to pursue her dreams. She has shot and styled many creative photoshoots such as For You From Me By Trinity for Merde Magazine and has worked with notable influencers and friends such as Cylia Chasman. She also runs her own magazine called The FYA where she interviews young creatives and gives them a platform to share their work. Sofia is currently working on a private project that will be released later on that includes her own videography, photography, styling, and music.

3) Yoanne Mobengo

Yoanne Mobengo is a Congolese fashion stylist and influencer based in Paris and is always caught at industry events. He is passionate when it comes to fashion and promotes black voices through his activism. He has styled and assisted with notable magazines like L’Officiel Italia, Vogue Netherlands and has worked with numerous brands.
