It’s easy to get caught up in the loop of social media. But if you landed on this page today, it’s because you are interested in a good read. Here are five books that will change your life – for the best. Those books will make you feel uncomfortable, because they will question you and make you think of how you can be a the best version of yourself. So now, read this article, order a book and start flipping through the pages. I hope you all enjoy reading these as much as I did.

1. The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin

In December, I read The Happiness Project and I got totally hooked. I not only finished the book in three days but I decided it was time to make a change in my life. I joined Gretchen Rubin’s Happiness project for the year and started making choices for my own well being. This book teaches you about friendship, the values of family, your ugly side, but also the good. It doesn’t teach you happiness, but teaches you ways of achieving it. I could not recommend this book more if you want to make a serious change in your life.

2. A Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl

This book, written by a Holocaust survivor who survived the horrors of being in Auschwitz and then became a therapist, is one of the most beautiful book I have ever read. You will be grasped by Viktor’s life in the camp but also understand what is the true meaning of life, writes by somebody who values it more than anybody else. This book will not make you pity him, it will open your eyes to what’s important to care about, and what isn’t.

3. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson

Manson’s writing is hilarious, comical, straight forward as he writes in a simple but attractive way. This book, which is very psychological, will makes you think of yourself, a lot. And as you can imagine from the title, it teaches you how to stop giving a f*ck when it comes all of the things we stress about daily. Manson says it in the beginning of the book, if you feel comfortable while reading this, there is an issue.

4. Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso

I read Girlboss back in September, when I went full force on blogging and promoting content online. I felt like I wanted to do something more than just promote eye cream and I needed to add value to my content. Reading Girlboss made me visualize and understand the ups and downs of being your own boss. It made me look at all of the sides of a business – and let me tell you that there’s nothing easy to it. Written through the eyes of Sophia Amoruso, who started from 0 and built an entire fashion empire, this book will inspire, motivate, and drag you to work on everything you love most.

5. You Are a Badass®: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero

I love reading books that makes you reflect on your behaviour and choices to see if you’re living your best possible life. This book will make you want to create something new, make a change, bring something new to the table, and teach you how to not be afraid, how to step up for yourself, how to take things in and, and how to live a life without doubts. Amazon says it perfectly, “By the end of You Are a Badass, you’ll understand why you are how you are, how to love what you can’t change, how to change what you don’t love, and how to use The Force to kick some serious ass.” (Amazon, 2018)
